Ski resort data is fragmented across hundreds of independent websites, proprietary systems, and inconsistent reporting formats. Accessing basic information like trail and lift status often requires integrating with multiple sources, each with its own structure and limitations.
Our goal is to create a unified, reliable API for ski resorts across the United States, standardizing trail and lift information into a consistent format regardless of where the data originates.
By continuously collecting and normalizing resort-reported conditions, we're building a centralized source for current mountain operations and historical terrain availability. This gives developers a single integration for building applications, analyzing seasonal trends, and understanding how mountain conditions change over time.
This project is by no means complete.
